ENHANCING SCIENCE ATTITUDE
Training on Enhancing Science Attitude among the Teachers at Upper Primary Level
   Major objectives of this programme
  • To develop curiosity among pupils and make critical observations.
  • To help the pupils to develop reflective thinking to train the pupils to apply scientific method in solving the problems.
  • To make the pupils to involve actively in lab activities.
  • To help the pupils to develop scientific outlook and apply the concept learnt in the class rooms in life situations.

89 DIET faculty, 110 BT Teachers, totally 199 Resource Persons were trained.
Phase II
Training to School Teachers
In their respective districts statewide 3 days 89 DIET faculties and 110 BT Teachers trained at first phase 13458 upper primary school teachers.

The training was inaugurated by our Honourable Education Secretary Mr.M.Kutralingam, Chief secretary department of School Education.The training was purely activity based, interactive and participatory in nature. Demo followed by hands on experience of the participants and activities to develop lab skills of the learners were insisted. Provisions for constructive activities for concept learning and scope for life situation were also focused. Supportive materials like VCD and handouts for organising activities were provided.
